Frugal Living and Healthy Habits
It's been a tough year for us financially. Many of you know that we own our own business. My husband is a plumber (Brien Black Plumbing 501-368-0099 "A leaky flush or a basement gush, we do it all give us a call"). We've been looking in to many ways to save money. We're creating budgets for ourselves, setting spending limits, and trying to cut costs in any way we can at home and at the office. From using HP coupons to
sony promo codes a penny saved is a penny earned.
What are you doing to save money during this down turned economy? Share some of your money saving tips with myself as well as the readers of CrAzY Working Mom. I would love to know how other families are cutting corners to make ends meet? Are you using Home Depot coupons or just not shopping there altogether? Eating out less, or not eating out at all?
Since the kids are back in school, I am bringing lunch with me to the office and that is saving a significant amount there as well as keeping me a bit healthier and in check. I've noticed that over the summer, not only were we eating out more but eating less healthy and I have packed on a few of those pounds I worked so hard to shed before the summer began.
Now it begins all over...the healthy lifestyle that is. I'm ready to work hard and eat less!

ahh, if none of us in the house needed food, I think we would be rich!
Oh, so true...but then where would we be without chocolate and the likes!! :)
Not going "out-out" very much is a big one for me. Drinking a few beers at the bar costs so much more than hanging out at someone's home and it's harder to hear and less fun a lot of times...
Of course I don't have the "going out" dilemma, but we can drive through a fast food joint and easily spend $30 on a family of 5. It's much more cost efficient to buy things to cook but more time consuming and harder to do during busy weeks like this week where we're going to Revival every night.
